Healthcare Leadership

As the founder and owner of the Practical Nurses Association of Jamaica (PNAJ) and Therapeutic Health And Wellness Services (THAWS), Sydia has made significant contributions to the healthcare landscape in Jamaica. Through these organizations, she has worked tirelessly to improve the quality of care and promote wellness across the nation. In addition to her leadership in these ventures, Sydia established the Practical Nursing Council of the Caribbean in April 2024, further solidifying her influence in the healthcare industry.

Pioneering Neurodiversity and Inclusion

Sydia is also a passionate advocate for neurodiversity. She founded the Jamaica Autism Academy, an innovative institution that supports children with autism and promotes understanding and inclusion within the community.
